There is an opening for a postdoctoral researcher in my lab (human-system interaction lab) at Texas A&M University.
Applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or a closely related field.
The successful candidates will have a strong background in experiment design, statistical analysis, as well as familiarity with statistical software such as R, JMP or SPSS. The position involves conducting research in the area of human-systems engineering with a focus on driver behavior and distraction, human-automation interaction, and cognitive performance modeling. In addition to conducting research, the postdoctoral researcher will engage in other activities such as advising graduate students, consulting or collaborating with other researchers or graduate students in this area, and working closely with the PI on research proposals.
