The Applied Cognitive Ergonomics laboratory (ACE-Lab) in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University (TAMU) is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow. Highly motivated individuals with backgrounds in health care human factors and human-computer interaction are sought to join our active group engaged in basic, translational, and clinical human factors research.
ACE-Lab is a young, highly interactive, and collaborative research group where interdisciplinary research approaches are utilized to help improve personnel performance and human-system interaction in complex safety-critical systems. The candidate will work on award-winning projects involving the design and evaluation of mental health monitoring technologies.

It consistently ranks among the country's top engineering schools. The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at TAMU has consistently ranked among the top 10 programs among public schools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Interested candidates should have obtained a Ph.D. degree in Engineering or Psychology with a Human Factors or HCI focus. Experience in the Health Care domain is highly desired but is not necessary. Experience with remote health technologies & systems and wearable sensors is a plus. Experience in mental health research is a plus. Software engineering management is a plus. The ideal candidate will have proven talent to work independently with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
SALARY: $50,000 - $75,000
START DATE: October - December 2020
DURATION: 1 - 3 years
